As a Doctor of History, a specialist in the history of modern education and a teacher, I hope that the École Privée Moléson will remain an exceptional place where high academic standards go hand in hand with individual attention for every pupil, and where pupils can develop and enjoy an educational experience that will contribute to their personal fulfilment and future success.

I started my teaching career over 10 years ago at the École Privée Moléson. I have always enjoyed the company of children, but what made me choose this profession was the feeling of being useful to society ans especially to observe the evolution of the pupils between the beginning and the end of the year. My favourite subject if foreign languages: German and English, which I speak fluently (and a little spanish). I find it fascinating and useful to be able to communicate in another language and I try to pass on this interest to the children in my class. Another important point for me is the development of critical thinking skills in students, which I believe is essential in today's world. With a Diploma of Advanced Studies in sexual health, I also give sex education classes in the Canton of Fribourg. "Life is like a bicycle, you have to move forward to keep your balance". I love my job as a teacher, and every day I get the feeling that I'm growing through it. I particularly enjoy the opportunity to share and pass on knowledge to my pupils, adopting a fun approach while maintaining the necessary rigour. At the same time, my passion for sport, football in particular, has helped me enormously to understand the importance of collaboration and understanding in achieving common goals.

I am 53 years old and the father of a 20 year old future universitary student. Before that, I studied at the Collège Saint-Michel in Fribourg in the Latin language section and obtained my baccalaureate in 1990. I have been teaching for thirty years at the École Privée Moléson, formerly École Libre Publique. I have been passionate about this profession since I was very young. I love to help students discover new concepts and nothing is more gratifying than a "Ah, I understood!". When I was a child, I used to help my classmates with their homework and that is perhaps where this passion came from. Outside of school, I am interested in sports in Fribourg, especially ice hockey and basketball, teams that I follow regularly.

It’s never too late to follow your true calling! After working in a different role at a local watchmaking company, it was my passion for supporting children with kindness that naturally led me into teaching. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in primary education at the HEP in Fribourg in 2024. This background now enables me to pass on much more than just knowledge: a love of learning, perseverance, self-confidence, and the belief that everyone can progress at their own pace. Curious and enthusiastic, I am delighted to be starting my first year of teaching at the École Privée Moléson. Working with the pupils and seeing their progress is a real source of motivation for me. As a sports enthusiast and former national-level basketball player, I firmly believe that sport also plays a vital role in a child’s development by fostering perseverance, respect, team spirit and the drive to excel. It is these values that guide my decisions.

Lolita Diniz

My professional and personal background is somewhat atypical. Born into a bicultural family, I grew up and studied in the canton. Just after passing my A-levels in Fribourg, I left for a sabbatical year in Brazil to discover a little more of this culture that is also my own. What was just a simple trip turned into a great adventure that would last almost 15 years. It was there that I trained to become a teacher, specialising in cycle 1. For 13 years, I taught in a public school in the north-east of Brazil. But then... In 2023, I felt the need to start a new chapter and, in 2024, I returned to Switzerland for good. Despite all the changes, I'm certain of one thing: I want to continue teaching. Being with children is an obvious choice for me. I like to get to know the story of each of my pupils and do my utmost to ensure that each child feels listened to, respected, capable and involved in his or her own learning. I consider myself a dynamic person and I like my work to be dynamic too. If you want to learn, you have to be able to try, ask, get your hands dirty, imagine, make mistakes and feel confident enough to try again. My little extras: visual arts (I love recycling and imagining new things) and being out in nature with children (who says you can only learn between four walls?! 😊 ).

I chose the teaching profession to participate in the development of young people, so that they are open to others and to the world. In this sense, I believe that learning several foreign languages is essential. Coming from a Franco-German family, I've been lucky enough to learn two languages from an early age. This has enabled me to appreciate the cultural richness and values of both countries. Another aspect of teaching that is important to me is being able to support each student individually in their learning. Observing and supporting pupils' progress throughout the year is for me the most important and rewarding aspect of teaching.
