The École Privée Moléson offers multilingual teaching based on the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) model. while our French-speaking school follows the Programme d’Études Romand (PER), part of the curriculum is taught in English and German from 1H. This enables pupils to broaden their view of the world and acquire the skills to interact in a diverse environment.
The school puts in place organisational structures and educational interventions that promote the overall personal, social, motor and cognitive development of each child. The small multi-grade classes enable children to develop in an environment where we care about their progress and well-being.
The flexi-class, coordinated by a specialist teacher in collaboration with support teachers, not only meets the needs of pupils with difficulties, but also offers projects and more in-depth activities for those with learning difficulties.
Special attention is paid to pupils in Years 7-8, to prepare them as well as possible (autonomy, maturity, self-confidence) for entry to the Cycle d’Orientation. The vast majority of our pupils enter the pre-gymnasium classes at the CO.
One of the schools’ strenghts is its wide range of hours. From 7.30 am, the premises are open and the reception is assured until the start of the courses. Children can have lunch in the cafeteria and, at the end of the day, afternoon and evening care is offered. Children can also benefit from homework help. And it’s always possible to adjust the morning, lunch or evening reception times if your schedule changes. This flexibility is much appreciated by parents.
